Exercise and Nutrition – Keep it Simple! December 19, 2008

At 49, I have been addicted to exercise and physical fitness most of my life. I have seen a lot of expert advice on fitness and nutrition come and go. Have you ever noticed how the “expert advice” tends to flip flop over time? I remember when vitamin E was good for you; then it was deemed unhealthy; then, news broke that it was good again! I think they change the advice to keep the headline fresh – news sells.
I have seen the same phenomenon with exrcise. Trends come and go – Aerobics, kick boxing classes, spinning – the list goes on.
For someone trying to lose weigh or stay in shape, it can get very confusing as to who to listen to and what kind of exercise is best.
I have always done my own thing, and I have learned that the best advice is to keep it simple. So, here are some tidbits that have come from years of experience.
Running is good. Long distance running is bad – I have the knees to prove it. You don’t have to run for an hour to get the benefits. I prefer shorbursts of high intensity effort. Instead of running 10 miles, I run a mile – as fast as I can. Then, I run a half mile as fast as I can. then maybe I will do some hill sprints. In twenty minutes, I have a killer workout, and I am done.
For you, it might be walking a mile as fast as you can. Or, just a half mile! This whole exercise thing is scalable to your abilities. The idea is to get the heart rate up, then rest. Then, get it going again.
Body weight exercises have always worked best for me. You don’t have to spend hours in a gym to get results. Push ups, Pull ups, dips, and core body exercises are great! And, you don’t have to spend a fortune on equipment. Use your imagination! If you can’t do pushups on the floor, do them leaning up a staircase – or against a wall. Gravity is a great thing. Use it!
The best foods to eat are real foods. Whole natural foods are best in my experience. Beef, Chicken, Fish, Veggies, Fruits, and nuts are real, natural food that gives your body most of what it needs. If the food you are eating comes in a package, it is processed and has bad stuff in it.
Beer and Wine are good for you. Well, maybe not, but I like it. That’s my story and I’m stickin to it.
Let me know your comments! What kind of challenges are you having. Maybe I can help! Or if you have some creative ideas, please share!
Internet Marketing and Network Marketing Merge April 11, 2008

Let me count the number of Network Marketing companies that I have been in and failed. Let’s see; there was NSA, OneSource, Bodywise, Quixtar, Amway, and Emerald passport. There were probably a few more sprinkled through the years, but my brain is repressing the memory.
I certainly can’t ask myself,”What did I do Wrong? I was so organized!” Yes, I had my contact manager, accounting program, and all my other tools lined up, but the sales never came. I never took the action necessary to create the sales. In those days, you had to sell to family and friends, and pitch the business to anyone within earshot. That part I hated, so I never did it.
Today is a different Story. A huge trend that is blazing through the net is the merger of Network Marteting and Internet Marketing. This is the most exciting trend that I have seen, because I open my business up to a world of traffic, and I don’t have to rely on family to keep me in business. And, it adds the component of residual income to Internet Marketing.
To be successful, you have to accomplish a few big steps along your path to the big bonus checks. First, You have to own the traffic. You are not going to get there by buying leads. You need to generate your own through targeted marketing efforts. This is the most difficult piece in any business! There is help, though. Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring and Build on a Budget are terrific resources. Likewise, Ann Sieg has been helping networkers for years with The Renegade Network Marketer. The basic philosophy is become an expert, offer a valuable product or service for free, have an upfront product for sale that generates revenue to support your business, and have the business opportunity as the backend product.
Second, You have to have a system that automates the selling process. For example, Synergy Success System has created a very robust site that does all of the selling and telling for the associate. The Synergy Site is loaded with top quality video, product information, shopping cart, business information and squeeze pages. Automation and high conversions are the keys to success for home based businesses.
Finally, the entire strategy and systems have to be duplicatable so that new associates can start being successful right away. Education is key, and that is largely accomplished through the upfront give-aways and upfront products. Automation is equally important, so that new associates are’t wasting time re-creating the wheel.

Have you ever been lucky enough to look out over the Horizon and see a synergy emerging where several industries and marketing philosophies begin to merge? The first thing that an astute observer would think is that now would be the time to take action and get involved, in some capacity, in the trend.
Often times, it is very difficult to know how to go about profiting from emerging trends. One company has made it abundantly clear that being in the cross hairs of a trend can be very profitable. Synergy Success System provides health and wellness products to the baby boomer crowd, and is at the vanguard of two industries mergings: Internet Marketing and Network Marketing.
Some industry heavy weights have noticed Synergy Success System leading this trend and have taken action. Day Job Killer’s Chris McNeeney has joined the commpany and has begun to market the automated website. Ellie Drake and Mike Filsaime of NetWeb marketing fame have also taken an interest in the company.
You will be hearing a lot more about Synergy Success System as they take the Internet Marketing, Network Marketing, and the Health and Wellness Industries to new heights. Watch this company as their growth becomes front page news.

Can Hypnosis Improve Sales? February 4, 2008

Back in October of 2007 I decided that it was time to quit drinking. I had not quit drinking for more than 5 days is a row for 30 years. I knew it was going to be hard, and I wasn’t quite sure how I was going to do it.
I found a Hypnosis program on CD and followed the program religiously. What a difference! I noticed a big change in myself and I no longer had the desire to go out for a beer. A ‘grown up’ inside me seemed to take over. What a relief!
Now I want the ability to increase my business sales, build stronger relationships, and improve my negotiation skills. I was wondering if hypnosis could help me in this regard!
One side benefit of using hypnosis to help me quit drinking was that it improved my attitude and my performance at work. I have been wondering if a specific hypnosis program for sales improvement would work as well as the alcohol freedom hypnosis program.
Well, I found a program that I am going to try. The sales copy makes some spectacular claims and it seems like there is a lot offered in the package. The program teaches you you how to use hypnosis to your advantage when working with prospects, clients, and personal relationships. I am very interested to see how the program works.
Here is the link: http://hypnosis.lifetimeprogression.com.
If you go there, provide some comments back to me. I am very interested to know what you think.
Internet Marketing Noise January 19, 2008

If you have spent any time looking for work-at-home opportunities, online jobs, or internet marketing help, you know that there is a ton of noise out there. Since early 2005, I have been working at internet marketing. I would be embarrassed to tell you how many of these so-called opportunities that I have tried. I have probably read every Google, MSN, and Yahoo ad out there that is trying to get you to sign up and spend thousands of dollars.
How do you know what works and what doesn’t? Who are the scammers and who aren’t? How many ads do you click on and get the same 20-something showoff, leaning against his sports car, telling you how rich he is?
Have you ever clicked on an ad and followed all of the links, and three or four pages into the site you still don’t know what the product is or what work you would be doing? What do they have to hide?
I will tell you what they are hiding – a big lack of credibility! Their opportunities have burned so many people that they have to spend pages and pages of long form copy to build their credibility.
Are you tired of the noise yet?
I know that I am!
My name is Dave Krigger, and I have seen it all. I have spent more than 25 years in corporate America, selling information technology solutions to corporations, and making my company owners rich. I got to hate my job so bad, that I couldn’t take it anymore.
I started to look for other opportunities. I have spent more money than I care to admit on personal development product sales, high priced seminar sales, product storefronts, affiliate marketing and poor quality network marketing. Nothing seemed to work.
My efforts have paid off! In my on-line efforts, I have been able to spot trends. One that I have seen exploding on the internet is the marriage of Network Marketing and Internet marketing.
You see, the problem that I have run into is that when I find a customer and make a sale on line, that is a one time profit. There have been very few well designed programs that enable a beginning marketer to make a sale and enjoy the continuous residual income.
I have found a way to make this work for the beginning marketer. Allow me to help you! Click through to my website and look at the site from several different perspectives. First, look at it from a customer perspective, and notice that it provides concise, well organized information. Second, look at it from a Marketing perspective and how this tool can help you build a business.
Thanksgiving November 23, 2007

Yesterday was Thanksgiving. I was worried that I would click back to my old self. One thing about the Holidays is that I used to drink a lot. Last year, I had about 5 or 6 beers and another 4 or 5 glasses of wine at dinner. I thought that I would have a miserable time staying away from beer and wine.
As it turned out, I had glass of wine with dinner. Period. I felt satisfied without the desire to keep filling my glass. You see, the Alcohol Freedom program helped me to gain control. I can’t believe how this has changed my life. For starters, in the 30 some days that is has been since I quit drinking, I have saved about $300 by not buying beer or wine. I have spent more time with my family, and I got off my lazy ass and started to look for a new career. My productivity has skyrocketed! If you haven’t made the decision to quit drinking yet, consider this. At, say, $10 per day, you spend about $3,650 per year – $36,500 per decade. Oh my God – I have spent over $100,000 on beer and wine over the past 30 years. Don’t let this continue. Make the Change Now!.
I Quit Drinking November 23, 2007

I needed to quit drinking. I didn’t particularly want to, but I really needed to. You see, my favorite food group was beer, and I always mapped out my day to make sure I was near a beer when I wanted one.
For nearly 30 years (I am only 48), I have been a beer drinker. I really enjoyed wine too, so that only added fuel to the fire. Beer drinking was a habit that became a huge part of my life. No, it took over my life.I never had any luck with slowing down or quitting. The longest period of time that I went without a drink was 5 days. I even tried hypnosis with a local hypnotherapist. The 9 week program was a failure. I didn’t want to give up on hypnosis, though. I had to find something that would work for me. I finally found help through Wendi Friesen’s web site, www.wendi.com.Wendi’s Alcohol Freedom CD program is a tremendous breakthrough! Wendi created a six CD program with a very specific outline for success. I listen to one track in the morning upon awaking, and another track in the afternoon or evening, usually at bedtime.
I wish that I could explain to you how this works, but I can’t. The only thing that I can say is that the freedom from the constant internal conflict about alcohol are gone. I just don’t think about it! Beer just doesn’t matter anymore.
Early in the program, I didn’t tell my wife that I was going to quit drinking. I was on my out the door to pick up a pizza when my wife yelled, pick up a six-pack, too. When I got to the Pizza shop, I approached the beer cooler, but I could not open the door. I am not saying that I could not physically open the door, I am saying that a subconscious force simply made the decision not to buy beer. I was elated that I wasn’t having the internal argument: should I buy beer or shouldn’t I. I simply didn’t!
I still have to get used to the lifestyle changes that come from quitting drinking. Last night was Halloween, and it was always fun to drink with the neighbors as the kids were trick-or-treating. As a non-drinker, I have to get used to the fact that I won’t be drinking in social situations. I got through it just fine.
Life is good and getting better! The other day, instead of going out for a beer or three, I stayed home. I was sitting on the couch before dinner when my son came and sat down beside me with a book in hand. For the next 20 minutes we read about the Top 50 Players in the Majors. It dawned on me that a 9 year old boy (and a 12 year daughter) need a real man for a Dad, not one who would spend time with a beer rather than his family.
If you need reassurance that hypnosis can work, call me. There is a real person behind this post. My name is Dave. Call me at (412) 352-7681.You can do this. It is easier than you think. Take action to improve your life now!
